Follow The
Birds, Bees, and Butterflies
In downtown Wolfeboro, NH, sits an expansive lot that should never house just another building. Instead, we believe that 29 Center Street should become a place for everyone.
Our vision is PZ Park, featuring native plants, birdhouses, pollinator gardens, and elegant pathways winding through one acre of intentionally designed landscaping.
At the heart of our park sits an Amish hand-built gazebo, already in place, waiting to host music, talks, and community gatherings. The park will be a peaceful place to stroll, sit, learn, and connect. Children will discover butterflies. Seniors will converse under the trees. Local schools will tour native plantings. PZ Park will be a hub for education, wellness, and beauty.
Pollinators know
no borders
Bees and butterflies don’t recognize town lines — they need continuous habitat to survive. Small gardens, when connected like stepping stones, allow species to move, adapt, and thrive as climate zones shift.
NH is part of major migratory corridors
The Eastern Monarch, for example, migrates from Canada to Mexico. What happens in NH affects this entire chain. Healthy nectar gardens provide vital fueling stops on their 3,000-mile journey.
Local action has
national effects
Every town that builds a pollinator garden adds to the national effort to fight insect collapse. PZ Park shows that even small spaces can be leveraged for biodiversity, education, and hope.
Community-based restoration is contagious
The story of PZ Park — one person turning a vacant lot into a beacon of biodiversity — is powerful. It encourages others to do what they can with what they have. That ripple effect is real, and essential.
Why PZ Park Matters
A Living
Sanctuary
In New Hampshire, where woodlands meet meadows and town centers edge into wild landscapes, the opportunity is unique and urgent: to create living sanctuaries in the heart of our communities. PZ Park is one of those sanctuaries — and its creation will not only help local ecosystems, but will ripple outward, offering a model of renewal that can inspire far beyond state borders.

Why PZ Park Matters
An Educational
Resource
PZ Park will serve as a living outdoor classroom for local schools, camps, and scout groups — providing hands-on environmental learning in downtown Wolfeboro. Interpretive signs will highlight native plants, pollinators, and biodiversity — sparking curiosity for visitors of all ages.
Why PZ Park Matters
A Community Space
A handcrafted gazebo at the park’s center will host live music, talks, and community gatherings — a space to celebrate art, culture, and connection. Curved paths and shaded seating nooks invite visitors to stroll, rest, and reconnect — with friends, neighbors, or simply the natural world.
